    No, the ACM Country Kickoff festival is free and open to the public.

  • What is the ACM Country Kickoff at The Star?
    The ACM Country Kickoff at The Star is a free, open-to-the-public, two-day festival for fans to get free access to live performances from some of their favorite Country Music stars and celebrate the ACM Awards’ return to North Texas. A beer garden presented by Coors Light will be on hand, in addition to a VIP space presented by Lucas Oil with a prime view of the stage. The ACM Country Kickoff will also feature food trucks, photo opportunities, ACM Awards show merchandise, and activations by a host of partners, including ACM Lifting Lives, Amazon Music, Ashley HomeStore, Kendra Scott, Lucchese, North Texas Ford, and Visit Frisco.
  • What is the music lineup?
    Artists performing live include ACM New Male Artist of the Year nominees Dylan Scott and Nate Smith; ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominees Caitlyn Smith and Hailey Whitters; ACM Music Event of the Year nominee MacKenzie Porter; as well as exciting up-and-coming artists Chayce Beckham, Ashley Cooke, Chapel Hart, Hannah Ellis, Tiera Kennedy, Corey Kent, Randall King, Erin Kinsey, Chase Matthew, Ian Munsick, Neon Union, Catie Offerman, Frank Ray, Josh Ross, and MaRynn Taylor. Plus, a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

    There will also be special performances on Tuesday night starting at 8:00 p.m. CT for Live From the ACMs: ACM New Artist Winners Celebration, where the New Female and Male Artist of the Year winners for the 58th ACM Awards will be revealed and celebrated.
  • Where can I park?
    Parking will be available in The Star’s Blue and Silver garages within The Star District in addition to several additional lots on and around the campus here. Parking in these lots is free and cannot be reserved ahead of time. We suggest giving yourself extra time to find a parking spot. To view the preferred arrival route and parking map, click here.
  • Is there a fee to park?
    Parking at The Star is free.
  • Are there restrooms available?
    Yes, there will be a restroom trailer as well as permanent restrooms located in the western breezeway of the Tostitos Championship Plaza.
  • Is the ACM Country Kickoff ADA-friendly?
    Yes, the event is ADA friendly. The permanent restrooms located in the western breezeway of the Tostitos Championship Plaza are accessible for guests with disabilities. Additionally, there is a designated ADA viewing area for guests with wheelchairs along with companion seating located on the east side of the stage.
  • Will there be food and beverage available for purchase?
    In addition to all the restaurants and bars in the Star District, the ACM Country Kickoff will also feature food trucks, including Cousins Maine Lobster, Cane Rosso, Son of a Butcher, and Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs. Plus, visit the Coors Light Beer Garden for a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, water and soda.
  • What form of payment is accepted?
    The ACM Country Kickoff is a cashless event. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted with all food and beverage partners.
  • Is outside food and beverage allowed?
    Water is allowed. No other outside food and beverage will be permitted.
  • Where is rideshare pickup/dropoff?
    Rideshares may drop-off within The Star where and when traffic permits. The rideshare pick-up hub is located in the Gridiron Lot at the intersection of Cowboys Way and Gridiron Road. Click here to view parking at The Star.
  • What bags are allowed at the event?
    We strongly recommend all attendees to limit the number of items they bring with them to the Tostitos Championship Plaza. Guests may carry only the following style and size bag, package, or container at The Plaza: Approved bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” The bags may be hand-carried or have a shoulder strap. Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags in accordance with the size set forth above with a high school logo are also acceptable .
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
    • Small, one compartment, clutch bag approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. No larger than 4.5 x 6.5.” This can be carried separately or within a plastic bag.
  • What is not permitted at the event?
    Weapons, airhorns, aerosol canisters, coolers, lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards and/or hoverboards, laser pointers, drones and/or remote-controlled aircraft devices, large cameras with detachable lenses and video equipment, umbrellas, smoking, and outside food and beverages other than water are all prohibited.
  • Is first aid available at the event?
    If first aid is required, please visit the first aid tent located on the West side of the event on Cowboys Way.
  • Where is Lost and Found at the event?
    The Lost and Found tent is located on the West side of the event on Cowboys Way.
  • What is the protocol for inclement weather?
    The ACM Country Kickoff is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, information and instructions will be announced on the stage and on the screens on the plaza to ensure the safety of attendees.
  • Can you tell me more about safety and security?
    The safety of all fans, as well as our artists, industry, Board, members, production team, and Country Music community is our top priority. We are collaborating with local law enforcement and have increased our safety and security measures. We look forward to a safe event filled with unforgettable moments and live music.
  • What should I do if I see something out of the ordinary?
    If you or anyone in your party see something suspicious, please notify the nearest event staff member, security personnel, or police officer. Remember: if you see something, say something!
  • What is the protocol for emergencies?
    Should you or anyone in your party require immediate assistance, please notify the nearest event staff member, security personnel, or police officer. In the event of a serious emergency at the ACM Country Kickoff at The Star, all event staff, event security, police and Frisco Public Safety emergency response agencies are ready and available to assist guests, including guests with disabilities.
  • Are animals allowed at the event?
    Animals are not permitted at the ACM Country Kickoff at The Star. However, guests with disabilities and their service animals or service animals-in-training are permitted in the event.
